We stock Gutermann cotton thread and Sulky rayon thread. For general piecing, applique and sewing of any kind we recommend Aurifil thread.
Aurifil thread is a fine Italian thread made from long staple 100% Egyptian cotton. You’ll find that it is strong, smooth, and consistent and your sewing machine will love it. We carry 60 colours of the 50wt thread which is great for hand applique and bulk-free piecing. The 40 wt is a wonderful general use quilting thread and we have 18 colours in stock. The 28 wt is great for adding extra dimension to your machine quilting, available in 6 colours. We also carry 10 colours of the 12wt wool/acrylic thread which is perfect for wool applique.
